This year we will be celebrating World Book Day with the theme 'Cosy up with a Book'. In the light of the cost of living crisis which is impacting so many people we are not having costumes. Instead we are wearing cosy clothes and having a free book stall. Children and staff are invited to wear 'cosy' items of clothing (onsies, pyjamas, dressing gowns, joggers and fluffy jumpers etc.) and can also bring in small items such as cushions, blankets and teddies, Each class will have milk and cookies. We will also be having a big book swap, Children can bring in books that they no longer want and on the day every child will visit the book stall and will take home a book that is new to them even if they have not brought a book to swap. Books can be brought into school anytime after the half term holiday.
