On Wednesday 14th February children in Year 3 will be going to see a production of Mary Poppins by the students of the Academy at Shotton Hall. I am sure that the children and staff will have a fabulous time and that it will be a very worthwhile experience for our children. No doubt children in Years 4, 5 and 6 remember going to see Matilda last year. We are asking for a £2.50 contribution for each child to help cover transport costs. Contributions can be made via ParentPay. Many thanks for your support.
On Wednesday 14th February y at 2:30pm our Year 4 children would their parents and carers to join them and staff in a fun with maths session. In June all Year 4 children will undertake a national multiplication table check. The session is a chance for you to play mathematical games alongside your child aimed at helping them to improve and secure multiplication and division facts in preparation for June. There will be a bag of goodies for you to take away with you so that your child can continue with the activities at home. Refreshments will be served at 2:30pm and the session will start promptly at 2:40pm.
On Tuesday 6th February we will be having a very informal meeting for all parents of our reception children. Please join us for a coffee and a chance to find out how you can help and support your child to learn to read. The session will start at 2:40pm and will be led by Miss Donoghue and Mrs Venner. There might even be some goodies for you to take home!
Gary Adey from the Sports Partnership has asked us to share this.
