School Performance and OFSTED Reports
Our OFSTED Inspection: March 2022
We are really pleased to make a copy of our most recent OFSTED inspection available on our school website.
We are delighted that as a school we continue to be judged as a good school and that the report gives clear recognition of many of the things that we are so rightly proud of about our school.
It is so important that our children are happy and that there is a sense of fun within school, with relationships between adults and pupils described as being strong and respectful.
The inspector clearly recognised that all staff expect the very best of our pupils and that safeguarding arrangements are effective.
We hope that you enjoy reading the report in full and that it gives you a clear picture of how OFSTED views the strengths of our school and identifies what we need do to help our school be even better.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Heather Shaw
Head Teacher
OFSTED Inspection Report: 23rd and 24th March 2022
Due to COVID19 and enforced school closure there is no official data to publish for either of the academic years 2019/20 or 2020/21.
Swimming Data
We are are extremely fortunate to have a swimming pool on our school site. However due to COVID19 we have not been able to offer a school swimming programme to our pupils since March 2020. This has obviously impacted negatively upon our outcomes for pupils. We hope that our school swimming programme will be able to resume in June 2021.
In June 2020:
- 83.7% of Y6 pupils were able to confidently swim 25m =36 out of 43 children
- 48.8% of Y6 pupils were able to use a range of strokes to confidently swim 25m =21 out of 43 pupils
- 83.7% of Y6 pupils were able to perform a self-rescue= 36 out of 43 children
