On Thursday, class 6R were introduced to the piece of music they would be studying in their music lessons this term. It is a piece of music called A Short Ride in a Fast Machine by John Adams. The children listened to the music and whilst they listed they produced their own soundscape of what they thought the music sounded like. The picked out the high pitches, slow and fast tempos and loud and quiet parts of the music.
1C and 1/2M are learning to play an instrument this term in Music, we are learning to play the glockenspiel! This week we have studied the names of the notes and we can already play the very first few notes of Twinkle Twinkle!

Year 3 have been having great fun learning to play the ukulele. We learned it has a head, a neck and a body. We have been strumming to a beat and making some lovely music! Keep a look out for videos in the weeks to follow. They will be posted on our video platform section of the website.!
