Shotton Primary School is seeking a reliable, proactive, and skilled Premises Manager to join our team as soon as possible. This is a key role within the school, ensuring our site is safe, secure, clean, and well maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the school premises, including site security, maintenance, health and safety compliance, and supervision of cleaning and site staff.
Key Responsibilities
Opening and closing the school site
Managing maintenance and repairs across the premises
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Overseeing contractors and site inspections
Maintaining security systems and procedures
Managing cleaning, grounds, and general upkeep of the site
Responding promptly to emergencies and operational issues
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience in premises, facilities, or site management
Is practical, organised, and able to work independently
Has good knowledge of health and safety requirements
Can communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and visitors
Is flexible, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining high standards

The post you are applying for is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974.
