Shotton Primary School is seeking a reliable, proactive, and skilled Premises Manager to join our team as soon as possible. This is a key role within the school, ensuring our site is safe, secure, clean, and well maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors. 

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the school premises, including site security, maintenance, health and safety compliance, and supervision of cleaning and site staff. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Opening and closing the school site  

• Managing maintenance and repairs across the premises  

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations  

• Overseeing contractors and site inspections  

• Maintaining security systems and procedures  

• Managing cleaning, grounds, and general upkeep of the site  

• Responding promptly to emergencies and operational issues  

We Are Looking For Someone Who: 

• Has experience in premises, facilities, or site management  

• Is practical, organised, and able to work independently  

• Has good knowledge of health and safety requirements  

• Can communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and visitors  

• Is flexible, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining high standards
