Remembrance Week

A Special Centenary Event

We could not be prouder of our children.  During Remembrance week, we all worked exceptionally hard to produce work to be displayed at our special Remembrance exhibition, in honour of the 100 years anniversary of World War One ending.

Our children learned all about the blitz, being evacuated, rationing and cooking, women in the war, the role of the RAF and life in the trenches.  It has taught us the meaning of respect, honour, pride, courage, bravery and resilience.

We were delighted that WO2 Eastwood from 8 Rifles Battalion could join us and take part in our service at the cenotaph.

Many thanks to parents and families who visited our exhibition and shared the learning, work of our pupils and wartime memorabilia.
