Children in Nursery enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book character. They all looked fantastic!
We had a fun day and enjoyed a Superhero hunt, where the children went on a mission to find all the Superheroes that were hidden in Nursery Quad.
This term the children have had lots of fun down in the woodlands. They have enjoyed going on a bear hunt, looking for stickman and making bird feeders as well as exploring the natural environment. The children are getting lots of enjoyment out of woodlands time as you can see.
All of the children did so well performing The Innkeepers Breakfast. Well Done boys and girls!
Today our children enjoyed their special trip to Tweddle Farm. The children enjoyed the ride on the bus and were very excited to visit Santa. The children had to write their own special letter to Santa. To get to Santa's Grotto the children had to go on a special tractor ride and sang different Christmas songs.
Santas Grotto was covered in lights and we met an Elf who showed us the way to go to see Santa. After we visited Santa the children listened to a special Christmas story.
After lunch we enjoyed walking around the farm and fed the animals. Before we came home we all were able to have a hold of a baby rabbit.
We have had so much fun in Nursery this morning with our Big Art day. The children enjoyed different activities including flicking paint, finger paint, and bubble paint. Both children and staff got very messy!
On Wednesday, children and staff dressed up for Halloween. The children had lots of fun dancing and playing games.
A big thank you to everyone who sent food in for the party. It was much appreciated!!
When the children arrived in Nursery this week, they found a scary witches cave. The children enjoyed dressing up and mixing potions. They spoke to each other about what they were doing and wrote lists of what they put in the cauldrons.
The children really enjoyed it. In the words of Jake, "It's really cool!"
Nursery Fire Crew
In Nursery the children have loved playing Firefighters outside. They have been dressing up and putting out all the fires in the Nursery garden.
To enhance the children's learning we arranged for a visit from the Fire Brigade and their Fire engine. The children got to squirt the hose and sit inside the fire engine.
A Warm Welcome
I am delighted to welcome the new nursery children and their parents to our school and early years department. The children are quickly feeling settled and happy in their new environment and the staff and I could not be more proud of them. We will use this page to share the wonderful learning your children do in their new class and inform you of any special events.
I look forward to meeting you all very soon!
