This week after inviting the Local Authority in to look at our progress as a school, we were all really pleased by the many positive comments that we received.
Our children really impressed our visitors with their impeccable manners and behaviour in lessons. The representatives from the Local Authority were really pleased with how effectively the leadership team is working together and we were able to demonstrate that many of our children make really good progress from their initial starting points.
Our visitors also saw some really good teaching.
It was really useful to have some sound advice given to us by Local Authority Advisors who are also OFSTED inspectors. Both Mrs Hudson as Chair of Governors and Mr Lane as Vice Chair were present to hear the feedback at the end of the day so that they have a very clear overview as to our priorities.
My thanks must go to all of the staff in the huge amount of work they put into wanting to make our visit as positive as possible. Many of them came into school during the weekends leading up to our visit.
