Mrs Forster Hewittson's and Mrs Lowden's Class

"Stars of the week"

Well done to our "stars of the week" Ayden Dobie for some wonderful caption writing and Joey Robson for trying new foods and liking them! We are very proud of you, keep up the fantastic attitude!

Just a quick reminder book bags should be brought into school everyday with reading books inside everyday. Our PE lessons are on a Tuesday afternoon, but it would be great if PE bags could be in school for any impromptu lessons

Week ending Friday 22nd September - well, the children have amazed us again this week. They have been writing sentences, counting and know how colours can show emotions in portraits. Why don't you ask your child about what they have enjoyed learning this week. Please remember your child should hand their homework book in on a Monday. This week we have sent out some spellings for the children to learn. They will be tested next Friday. Have a good weekend.

"Superstars"

We are very proud of our "stars of the week". Keep up the fantastic work!

Courtney Best - making a wonderful start to her new class and school.

Kaidon Williams - for having a happy attitude to all his work.

We have been given our first task to become a "tour guide of Shotton". We have already discussed what we know about Shotton and talked about where we live. This week we have talked about what we can see out of our bedroom windows to compare our local environment.

Our Class Charter 1

Welcome to Year 1's Newsletter, remember PE day is on a Tuesday.

Welcome to Year 1

Mrs Forster-Hewitson, Mrs Lowden and Mrs Johnson would like to welcome all of you to Year 1.

We have started with smiles, laughs and a positive feeling!

We have talked a lot about what we can expect from each other and we have made a class charter which is in pride of place in our classroom.
