From 16th April 2018, the way we organise our Breakfast Club will change. Children will no longer be able to pay for food and drink per item and payment must be made by using our online payment system ParentPay. If you are unable to access this, and wish to pay with cash, please contact the school office staff who will be able to help with alternative methods of payment which ensure no cash is brought to school for payment or Breakfast Club.
Breakfast Club Sessions
Breakfast Club is open from 8:00am to 8:50am Monday to Friday (school term time only). The club is run on a drop-in basis, so there is no need to book your child a place.
The cost of Breakfast Club is £1.50 per child per day. As part of the school moving towards a cashless environment by September 2018, payment can only be made by ParentPay, our online payments system.
Payments for your Breakfast Club sessions should be made on a weekly basis. Should balances remain unsettled after a period of 2 weeks after sessions have been purchased, children will no longer be allowed to attend the club.
An attendance register will be kept for charging purposes and for use in the event of an emergency. Your child’s attendance will be input into ParentPay so that you are correctly charged for any sessions attended.
HOT: Bacon or Sausage Sandwich (one of these will be available each day) OR Beans on Toast (available every day)
COLD: Toast (with butter and jam), Cereal, Yoghurt, Fruit
DRINKS: Water, Milk, Milkshake, Juice
Children can choose 1 item from the hot options and 1 item from the cold options OR 2 items from the cold options on the menu for that day.
Children will have a choice of water, milk, milkshake or juice (1 serving).
Dropping off your Child
Your child can be brought to the Breakfast Club from 8:00am onwards. Please enter by the KS1 hall door next to the kitchen. Children must be handed over to Breakfast Club staff by a responsible adult.
Children are expected to follow our school rules whilst they are at breakfast club. If there are issues with behaviour parents will be contacted requesting their support. If there continue to be issues with behaviour, it may be that a decision is made that a specific child is not able to attend breakfast club.
Once children have eaten, the children are provided with supervised activities such as board games and construction materials until the start of the school day. Our breakfast club is extremely well attended and greatly appreciated by our parents and children.
